Good luck on your challenge. Could you post some advices for future runners like me?

Here's a short story I wrote about my participation in the 2007 Seattle Marathon, maybe it will help give you some idea of what it's like. The best piece of advice that I've ever been given is that when you don't feel like running, just tell yourself that you are only going to do a mile. Just getting out the door is 90% of the motivation battle :-)
